Quinnipiac has released a new series of "battleground" polls which show Obama cruising in two states barely won by John Kerry. In Minnesota, he leads John McCain by 17, in Wisconsin by 13 points. In Michigan, Obama is up by 6 points, and in Colorado he leads McCain 49-44. In 2004, George W. Bush won Colorado by 5 points, but in 2006 Democrats retook the Governor's mansion, a swing Congressional district and both houses of the state legislature. Democrats also hope to benefit in the state after they host their summer convention in Denver.
