Fulton County Superior Court Judge Tom Campbell, a former Republican legislator from Roswell has denied the Democratic Party of Georgia's request for a temporary restraining order to prevent the state from enforcing the Voter ID law in Tuesday's primary. Campbell was appointed by Gov. Sonny Perdue, a defendant in the case. In 2001, Campbell joined most Republicans in the General Assembly in voting against changing the Georgia flag.
